Olafur Eliasson Creates First Augmented Reality Artwork in Quarantine

Analysis

I have been a long admirer of Eliasson's artwork and approach to interactivity. This recent AR project of his, "WUNDERKAMMER," in collaboration with Acute Art, really caught my attention mostly because it aligns so much with the ambitions for my project. What I find really valuable in studying his work is the strong link between the elemental narrative he showcases through the AR experience and the convenience that end users are able to participate in it from anywhere. With such an effective precedent in place, I feel confident that my proposal can expand on this exploration with visual effects by integrating new opportunities of interactivity.
