Background

Reformat Node Used As Background

Using a Reformat node set to the desired frame size allows for the Scanline Render to output to the desired output size, but with an alpha preserved. This is unlike the use of a solid/texture background, which does not preserve the alpha channel of the Scanline Render output. Note that the Reformat node needs to enable filter > black_outside to retain the desired output size, otherwise it reverts to the geo content.
